Tenant Screening can help you evaluate prospective tenants before deciding whether to move forward with a rental.
As a landlord, you can send a Tenant Screening Request, track its progress, manage incomplete requests, and review the results from your Furnished Finder Dashboard.
Send a Tenant Screening Request
You can send a Tenant Screening Request from your Furnished Finder Messages or from the Tenant Screening section under Landlord Tools.
The tenant will receive an invitation to complete the screening and pay the $44.99 screening fee. If you prefer to pay for the screening on the tenant's behalf, you'll need to use KeyCheck.

Track and Manage the Request
After sending a request, go to Tenant Screening under Landlord Tools to check its status.
Depending on the status, you may also be able to resend the request, correct the tenant's email address, or archive it.
If a tenant doesn't complete their screening or is no longer moving forward with your rental, you can archive the screening request to remove it from your active tenant screening requests.

Review the Results
Once the tenant completes the screening, you can review the available credit, criminal background, and eviction history reports from your Furnished Finder Dashboard.
Most results are ready within a few hours. In rare cases, where a specific jurisdiction requires manually pulling records, it may take up to five business days.
Completed screening reports are available for 30 days. After 30 days, you can still see that the screening was completed, but the report can no longer be viewed or downloaded.
Tenant Screening provides information to help you evaluate a prospective tenant, but it doesn't determine whether a tenant should be approved. Consider the results along with your other rental criteria and apply the same criteria consistently to each applicant.
