Through our partnership with RentalGuardian, the Damage Protection Plan helps cover accidental damage caused by a tenant during a contracted stay on Furnished Finder. We’ll be rolling out this out to customers over the next few weeks.
It’s designed to cover the kinds of everyday damage that can happen while someone is living in your property, including damage to furniture, flooring, walls, and other covered items.
The program is intended to complement, not replace, other types of coverage:
- It is not renters' insurance and does not cover a tenant’s personal belongings.
- It is not landlord insurance and does not cover long-term structural risks or general property ownership liability.
A valid, signed lease agreement between you and your tenant is required for any claim to be eligible. Claims are reviewed by licensed professionals, and coverage applies only during an active signed lease and after your coverage start date. Claims submitted without a signed lease cannot be approved.
