Booking statuses help landlords track rental arrangements and manage their calendar on Furnished Finder. While Furnished Finder connects landlords and travelers for monthly rentals, lease agreements and payments are handled directly between landlords and travelers.
What Do Booking Statuses Mean?
Pending: A Tenant Screening has been requested, but the rental has not been confirmed. The dates are not blocked on your calendar.
Confirmed: You've confirmed the booking and blocked the rental dates on your calendar. This prevents those dates from appearing as available to other travelers.
Declined: You've declined the booking request. Any previously blocked dates are released and become available on your calendar.
Cancelled: A booking has been cancelled. Any blocked dates are removed from your calendar, and you can create a new booking from the same conversation.
A confirmed booking on Furnished Finder does not replace a signed lease agreement. Landlords and tenants are responsible for agreeing on lease terms and arranging payments directly.
Does Declining a Booking Affect My Response Rate?
Declining a booking request updates its status but does not count as a response to the traveler. If you haven't already replied, send a message through Furnished Finder within 24 hours of the traveler's initial inquiry to avoid negatively affecting your Response Rate.
