There are three types of tenant leads in your dashboard, each requiring a different approach to maximize your booking success.
Depending on how a traveler contacts you, they may appear in different areas of your Dashboard. Booking Inquiries are delivered to your Messages section, while Matched and Unmatched Tenant Leads appear in the Tenant Leads section.
Booking Inquiries
These are the strongest leads from travelers who chose your property specifically and are ready to book. It's important to respond quickly and clearly to these bookings.Matched Tenant Leads
These are tenants whose needs match your property, but multiple property owners receive the same request. To stand out, respond promptly with detailed information about how your property meets their requirements.Unmatched Tenant Leads
These are leads whose needs partially match your property. Review their requests and decide if you can make adjustments to accommodate them. Negotiation and flexibility can turn these leads into successful bookings.
For all lead types, being responsive, clear, and adaptable increases your chances of securing tenants. For more information on types of tenant leads, check out our YouTube video!
Additional Details About Tenant Leads
The Tenant Leads page displays your matched and unmatched tenant leads in a table. Click anywhere within the blank area of the row to view its details.
- Our system continuously matches property listings with active housing requests to help travelers find a place to stay and provide you with potential tenant matches.
- If a housing request has not expired and has not been canceled by the traveler, you may see it in your dashboard so you can evaluate if it is a fit for your property.
- Travelers can cancel a housing request if they have successfully found housing, and you can also delete tenant leads, booking inquiries, and messages from your dashboard.
- How you view a traveler’s contact information depends on the lead type:
Matched and Unmatched Tenant Leads (Housing Requests): Open the request and select Reveal Phone or Reveal Email to view the traveler’s contact information.
Direct Messages and Booking Inquiries: Traveler contact information is hidden, but you can see whether it’s verified. To get their phone number or email address, you can ask the traveler through Furnished Finder messaging.
If a Housing Request doesn't include contact information, select Reply to Traveler to send a message or View Conversation if you've already replied.
