Managing a Housing Request

Travelers can manage their housing request status directly from "My Request" section of the Furnished Finder dashboard. This helps reduce unnecessary follow-ups or unwanted messages from landlords and keeps your requests up to date.

Use the steps below to mark your request as Cancel or Housing Found.

Marking as Housing Found

  1. In your Dashboard, click My Requests.
  2. On the Housing Request, click the three dots under Actions.
  3. Select Housing Found from the dropdown menu.
  4. Confirm where you booked a property.
    • Somewhere Else: The request will be marked Housing Found.
    • On Furnished Finder: Select the property you booked and confirm.

Canceling a Housing Request

  1. In your Dashboard, click My Requests.
  2. On the Housing Request, click the three dots under Actions.

  3. Select Cancel.

  4. Choose Cancel Search.

    • Choose Keep Search if you still need housing.

Please note: Once a housing request is submitted, it cannot be edited.  If you need to change any details, you must cancel the existing request and submit a new one by clicking Submit a New Housing Request.
