Travelers can manage their housing request status directly from the "Housing Request" section of your Furnished Finder dashboard. Use the steps below to mark your request as fulfilled or cancel it altogether.
Marking as Housing Found
- In your Dashboard, click Housing Request.
- Click the green Active button next to the request you want to update.
- Select Housing Found from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm where you booked a property.
- Somewhere Else: The request will be marked Cancelled.
- On Furnished Finder: Select the property you booked and confirm.
Cancelling a Housing Request
- In your Dashboard, click Housing Request.
- Click the green Active button next to the request you want to update.
- Select Cancelled.
- Choose Yes, cancel it or No, I still need housing.
- When prompted, choose one of the following:

Yes, cancel it
- Confirm the cancellation and select a reason:
- My assignment was canceled updates the status to Cancelled.

I have booked housing
- Somewhere Else: the request will be marked as Cancelled.
- On Furnished Finder: select the property you booked and confirm.
- Confirm the cancellation and select a reason:
- No, I still need housing: the request will remain active.

To reactivate a housing request, click I Still Need Housing!
Note: Once a housing request is submitted, it cannot be edited. If you need to change any details, you must cancel the existing request and submit a new one by clicking Submit a New Housing Request.
