If You Can Still Access Your Account
- Log in as soon as possible using your username or email address and password.
- Go to your My Profile and correct any email address or phone number you don't recognize.
- Go to your Settings to update your password to something strong and unique.
- Make sure your personal email account is also secure.
- Review recent account activity, including messages you didn’t start.
If You Cannot Still Access Your Account
If you're unable to access your account, please contact us so we can help. To help us locate and verify your account, please include:
- Your username
- The email address or phone number previously on your account
- The new email or phone shown in the notification you received
- The date and time you received the notification
- Whether you still have access to your personal email account
For your security, do not include your password or any payment information.
To protect you from further unauthorized access, we'll need to verify your identity before we can review or make any changes.
If Your Personal Email Was Also Compromised
If the email address connected to your Furnished Finder account was compromised, someone may be able to intercept your account notifications and password reset emails.
If you believe your personal email account was hacked:
- Secure your personal email account immediately.
- Change your email password.
- Check for any suspicious forwarding rules or unfamiliar login activity in your email settings.
- Review your email's recovery options, such as backup email addresses and phone numbers.
- If you can't regain access, contact your email provider directly.
