Calendar Management in the App

To access the calendar in the app, click the calendar icon at the bottom of the screen. 

Manage your listing's availability by blocking dates, editing or deleting events, and linking external calendars. You can also adjust calendar settings, such as hiding your listing, setting minimum stays, and choosing which events to display. 

All dates show as available unless you block them. Calendar updates sync to Furnished Finder within about 15 minutes. If you link your calendar to Airbnb or Vrbo, updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.


Blocking Dates

  1. Select the property or unit from the dropdown at the top of the screen.

  2. Click the floating “+” button to open the Add Event window.

  3. Enter an event name → select the dates → add a description → click Save.

  4. A confirmation message will appear, and the event will display on your calendar.

Note: An “event” is anything that makes your property unavailable, such as a booking or maintenance. Once added, those dates are blocked from travelers.

Overlapping Dates

If dates conflict with an existing event, a pop-up will show the overlap.

  • From the pop-up, you can:

    • Edit or delete the conflicting event, or

    • Proceed and add the new event, even with the conflict.

Editing Events

  1. Swipe left on the event and tap Edit, or tap the event to open details.

  2. In the Event Details view, update the information and click Save.

  3. A confirmation message will appear once saved.

Note: Events synced from external calendars are read-only and cannot be edited in the Furnished Finder app.

Deleting Events

  • Option 1: Swipe left on the event → tap Delete.

  • Option 2: Tap the event → select Delete Event.

For either option, a confirmation message will appear once deleted.


Calendar Settings

  1. Open settings by clicking the gear icon at the top left.

  2. Manage the following options:

    • Temporarily Hide My Listing: Removes the property from search results without affecting bookings. Travelers won't be able to send new messages or booking requests.

    • Minimum Stay: Choose the minimum stay requirement for your property.

    • Display Past Events: Show previously completed events on your calendar.

    • Show Only Furnished Finder Bookings: Display only bookings and events created in Furnished Finder. Imported calendar events will not show.

Importing Calendars

  1. In the Calendar Settings, click Add.

  2. Enter the external calendar URL → click Save.

  3. A confirmation message will appear, and the calendar will display at the bottom of the settings.

Editing or Deleting Imported Calendars

  • Delete: Swipe left on the imported calendar → tap Delete → confirm.

  • Edit: Swipe left on the imported calendar → tap Edit → reload the external calendar URL.
