Using the Tenant Tracking Tool

Landlords who manage multiple properties can manage their current and past tenants' move-in and move-out dates, deposits, and property expenses with the Tenant Tracking Tool on the Dashboard.

Accessing the Tenant Tracking Tool

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Go to Landlord Tools and select Tenant Tracking Tool.

Adding a Tenant

  1. Under the "Current Tenants" section, click + Add Tenant.
  2. Select a property and unit from the dropdown.
  3. Complete the required fields.
  4. To add an additional tenant, click the "Add Secondary Tenant" button.
  5. Select the Move in/Move out dates.
    • You can also click the checkbox next to "Update my Furnished Finder Calendar Based On These Dates" to update your calendar.
  6. Select a rent due date from the "Monthly Rent Due" dropdown.
  7. Add additional deposits or fees from the "Deposits/Move-in Fees" dropdown.
    • If the deposit or fee was refunded, check "Was The Fee Paid?" and enter the refund date and amount.
    • Use the "Notes" section to provide additional details.
  8. If applicable:
    • Check "Tenant Screened" and enter the screening date and company.
    • Check "Is Lease Signed??" and enter the lease signing date.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click on a tenant's name to view or update their information.

Adding a Property Expense

  1. Under the "Property Expense" section, click + Add Expense.
  2. Select a property, unit, and expense year from the dropdown.
  3. Enter amounts for the expenses listed or add/delete custom expenses.
  4. Click Submit.
