Landlords who manage multiple properties can manage their current and past tenants' move-in and move-out dates, deposits, and property expenses with the Tenant Tracking Tool on the Dashboard.
Accessing the Tenant Tracking Tool
- Log in to your Dashboard.
- Go to Landlord Tools and select Tenant Tracking Tool.
Adding a Tenant
- Under the "Current Tenants" section, click + Add Tenant.
- Select a property and unit from the dropdown.
- Complete the required fields.
- To add an additional tenant, click the "Add Secondary Tenant" button.
- Select the Move in/Move out dates.
- You can also click the checkbox next to "Update my Furnished Finder Calendar Based On These Dates" to update your calendar.
- Select a rent due date from the "Monthly Rent Due" dropdown.
- Add additional deposits or fees from the "Deposits/Move-in Fees" dropdown.
- If the deposit or fee was refunded, check "Was The Fee Paid?" and enter the refund date and amount.
- Use the "Notes" section to provide additional details.
- If applicable:
- Check "Tenant Screened" and enter the screening date and company.
- Check "Is Lease Signed??" and enter the lease signing date.
- Click Save.
- Click on a tenant's name to view or update their information.
Adding a Property Expense
- Under the "Property Expense" section, click + Add Expense.
- Select a property, unit, and expense year from the dropdown.
- Enter amounts for the expenses listed or add/delete custom expenses.
- Click Submit.
