Early Lease Termination Notice Requirements

To qualify for an Early Lease Termination Notice,

  • A valid lease must exist between the landlord and tenant.

  • The lease must contain an early lease termination clause.

  • The tenant is responsible for providing a vacate notice for early lease terminations.

  • Must occur after the tenant has moved in. Protection for no-shows or pre-move-in cancellations does not quality.

  • Must be reported within 3 business days of incident.

  • Only effective 14+ days after lease begins.
