Updating Your Bank Account for Online Payments

  1. Log in to your Stripe account.
  2. Click the Settings icon and select Business Settings.
  3. Click External Payout Accounts and Scheduling.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click to receive the verification email.
    • Note: You may also be required to enter your previous bank account information as a security measure.
  6. Enter your updated bank account information. 
    • Ensure the account number, routing number, and name match the information on your bank statement. 
  7. Click Edit account to save.

Additional Tips:

  • Before you can remove a bank account from a Stripe user account, you must replace it with another active bank account so that Stripe can process payouts, refunds, and disputes.
  • If your bank account information is updated while a payout is already "in transit," that payout will be sent to your old bank account.
