How to Protect Yourself
- Never Wire Money: Scammers prefer wire transfers because they are irreversible.
- Is it Too Good to Be True? If the traveler seems overly eager to pay upfront without asking questions about the property, be cautious.
Reporting a Traveler
We review every report so Furnished Finder can remain a trusted marketplace.
To report a traveler:
- Submit a request through our form.
- Enter your email address and "Reporting Traveler" as the subject.
- In the "Description" field, please include the traveler's name (or username), phone number, email address, and a detailed explanation of the traveler's suspicious activity.
- Click Submit.
