Securing a Tenant

Here are some best practices for securing a tenant after completing your listing on Furnished Finder.

Keep Your Pricing Competitive

When determining your rate, consider your square footage, location, and included utilities and amenities. Monthly rentals generally charge 1.5–2 times more than long-term, unfurnished leases.

Respond Quickly to Tenant Leads

Be sure to keep your notifications on to respond quickly to direct booking requests, messages, and housing requests.

Utilize Furnished Finder's Landlord Tools

Our sister company, KeyCheck, offers a variety of tools, such as Tenant Screening, Legal Documents and Leases, and Online Payments to help you succeed in the monthly rental industry and make tenant experiences easier.

Prepping Your Property

Ensure your rental is clean, fully furnished, and stocked with linens and towels, cookware and utensils, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Provide a starter amount for essentials like soap, detergent, paper towels, and trash bags to help your tenants get started.

Welcome Your Tenant

A smooth check-in process and warm introduction set the tone for a great rental experience. Be sure to provide your tenant with Wi-Fi information, parking details, and appliance instructions.
