What are the Damage Protection Plans?

Through our partnership with Waivo, landlords can access our Damage Protection Plans.  With a Damage Protection Plan, you'll have an extra layer of protection for your property and furnishings - giving you added peace of mind. This flexible protection works alongside a traditional deposit to help reduce stress when the unexpected happens.

What's Protected

  • Accidental damage caused by the tenant.

  • Theft by the tenant during the rental period, confirmed by a police report.

  • Damage caused by pets. ($300 deductible and a $1,000 limit).

  • Protection on qualifying notices of $50 or more is required to be eligible.

  • If your tenant provides you with a notice of early termination, you can be reimbursed for a portion of lost rent - available for the Premium plan only.
  • Waivo only reimburses cleaning costs when they are directly related to damage to permanent parts of the property or items such as upholstery, carpets, or rugs.

What's Not Protected?

For details on exclusions, please refer to Waivo's Terms and Conditions.
