What are the Three Types of Tenant Leads?

There are three types of tenant leads in your dashboard, each requiring a different approach to maximize your booking success.

  1. Direct Booking Requests 
    These are the strongest leads from travelers who chose your property specifically and are ready to book. It's important to respond quickly and clearly to these bookings.

  2. General Housing Requests 
    These are tenants whose needs match your property, but multiple property owners receive the same request. To stand out, respond promptly with detailed information about how your property meets their requirements.

  3. Unmatched Housing Requests
    These are leads whose needs partially match your property. Review their requests and decide if you can make adjustments to accommodate them. Negotiation and flexibility can turn these leads into successful bookings.

For all lead types, being responsive, clear, and adaptable increases your chances of securing tenants

Housing Requests Reminders

  • Our system continuously matches property listings with active housing requests to help travelers find a place to stay and provide you with potential tenant matches.
    • If a housing request has not expired and has not been canceled by the traveler, you may see it in your dashboard so you can evaluate if it is a fit for your property.
  • Travelers can cancel a housing request if they have successfully found housing, and you can also delete housing requests, booking requests, and messages from your dashboard.
  • Travelers control how much contact information they share in their Housing Request. If contact details aren't visible, log in to your Dashboard, click Tenant Leads, then select View Details to message them directly through Furnished Finder.
